Run the people who play

Sign

Draft classes declare every season across four leagues. Every pitch costs cash and shows its odds, spend like an agent who plans on being here in year twenty.

Negotiate

Real cap mechanics, team patience meters, holdouts, franchise tags and performance clauses. Beat the market and your reputation moves. Get greedy and the GM stops returning calls.

Build

Commission buys office upgrades, lifestyle tiers and recruiting reach. Five agent stats shape the agent you become, and the codename you retire with.

The leaderboard is the endgame

Every career ends the same way: the Retirement Package, an interactive review of your whole run, and then your Power Score posts itself to a global monthly board shared across Steam and mobile. No account, no sign-up, your score is yours the moment the run ends.

Retire in review

Career stat tiles, earnable honors, a season-by-season timeline of every signing, scandal and title, and charts of your best and worst clients. Twenty seasons deserve a proper send-off.

Own the month

One board per difficulty bracket, resetting monthly. Only your single best run counts, so bad experiments never hurt you and great ones live on as your personal record. The top agency takes the crown.

Honors to chase

Dynasty Builder, Century Club, Star Whisperer, Full Ride. Career Honors preview the Steam achievement set arriving at the Steam launch, and give every run a collection to complete.

From the developer

I remember being on my og Xbox in the aughts, my ma telling me to get up and finally pack for yet another move. The problem? I was stuck building a Gators dynasty in EA College Football 2003.

A decade later, I'd lost count of the NHL and FIFA dynasties, the Orlando Magic rebuilds I'd completed in 2K. More Gators, but this time in the incredible NCAA Basketball series. Over and over, menu after interminable, endless menu.

A couple more decades and some work experience later, I was steering my PlaydotBasketball-gmdotcom Orlando Magic dynasty to greater achievements than the Chicago Bulls, a browser game on my laptop, classic Trek on the small TV in the back.

I have a life. I have love. I've also been playing games like this all my life. I hope you give it a shot, compete to be the best.

Thank you, sports game devs, especially everyone who ever worked on Franchise mode.

Questions, answered

What is the best sport manager game?

The best sport manager games put you behind the desk, not on the field: budgets, contracts, egos, and wins earned in spreadsheets as much as on the scoreboard. Homegrown does two things the category doesn't: it plays from the agent's side of the table — you run the agency, not the team — and its negotiations run on real salary-cap rules, so a max deal actually means something. And unlike most of the genre, you can try it this second: the free demo runs in your browser, no download.

What is Homegrown: Sports Agent Empire?

A roguelike sports agency management game: you run the agency, not the team. Recruit athletes across four leagues, negotiate under real salary-cap rules, and build a twenty-season legacy in about an hour per career.

Where can I get it?

Wishlist on Steam and find it on the App Store and Google Play. Premium, pay-once on every platform.

How much does it cost?

It's premium and pay-once, priced per platform, check the store page for your device. That's the whole game: no microtransactions, no ads, no energy timers, no season pass.

Is there a free or browser version?

There's no free full version, one purchase includes everything. The free demo covers the first eight seasons of a From Scratch career, playable here on the website and on Steam, with its own monthly cross-platform leaderboard.

Is it singleplayer?

Yes, with one global leaderboard per difficulty bracket that resets monthly across all platforms. Every run ends in the Retirement Package, an interactive career review, and your score posts itself.

Will there be Steam Achievements?

Yes, the Steam build ships with a full achievement set across scouting, negotiation, crisis management and legacy. The Career Honors you earn in the Retirement Package are a preview of it.

Which languages are supported?

English, Spanish, French, Chinese and Korean.

Is it affiliated with the NBA, NFL, MLB or NHL?

No. Homegrown is an independent management simulation and is not licensed by or affiliated with any league, team, players' association or athlete.
